What should I expect in my assessment and treatment?

We advise that you arrive few minutes early for your first consultation to allow time to complete registration and temperature check.

Your therapist will meet and greet you from the reception and take you to the consultation room where your assessment and clinical examination will be undertaken.

The consultation involves a detailed history talking, assessment and clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment.

This session will normally take 45 minutes.

What will happen in any follow-up sessions?

The follow-up sessions generally last for 30 minutes. The progress of your treatment and management plan will be discussed in line with evidence based practise. The therapist will explore various treatment approaches tailored to your specific need and goals of treatment.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We suggest that you wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.

You may be required to remove one or more items of clothing to enable your therapist to assess your condition.

Clients who wish to bring a chaperone are more than welcome, you may ask your therapist about our chaperone policy.

Is there anywhere to park near the clinic?

There are pay parking spaces in front of the clinic and near the high street, which is 2 minutes walk from the clinic.

Our clinic benefits from visitor car parking spaces around the Library.
